Notice of Town of Watab Absentee Voting, Annual Election
& Meeting and Board of Canvass
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Watab Township, County of Benton,
State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and the Annual Meeting
will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2010.
In case of bad weather the election and the meeting may be postponed until March 16, 2010.
The election poll hours are from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at which time the voters will elect
one (1) Supervisor for a three-year term and one (1) Clerk for a two-year term.
The Annual Meeting will commence following the closing of the polls to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.
If you will be absent from the precinct on Election Day, you may vote at the Clerk’s Office at the Town Hall
on Saturday, March 6, 2010 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and noon.
The Board of Canvass will be held by the Supervisors following the Annual Meeting to certify the official election results.
Absentee Voting, the Annual Election, and the Annual Meeting will be held at the Watab Town Hall, 660 75th St. NW, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379.
